The Fleet Operator Recognition
Scheme (FORS)
Helping Your Business Achieve and Maintain
FORS Compliance
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a nationally recognised accreditation programme that promotes best practice in fleet operations, road safety, environmental performance and operational efficiency.
Whether you're applying for FORS Bronze, working towards Silver or Gold accreditation, or simply looking to improve your fleet's safety standards, TNK Engineering can help you choose the right vehicle safety equipment to support your compliance goals.

What Is FORS?
FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme designed for fleet operators of all sizes. It provides a framework to help businesses improve vehicle safety, reduce environmental impact and demonstrate a commitment to responsible fleet management.
Many local authorities, construction companies and major contractors now require suppliers and subcontractors to hold FORS accreditation before they can work on their projects.
Achieving FORS accreditation shows that your business is committed to operating safely, efficiently and professionally.
The Three Levels of FORS Accreditation
FORS Bronze
Bronze is the entry level of FORS accreditation and focuses on ensuring operators meet legal requirements and demonstrate effective fleet management.
To achieve Bronze accreditation, operators must have suitable management systems, driver policies and vehicle safety procedures in place.
FORS Silver
Silver builds upon Bronze by placing greater emphasis on reducing road risk and improving vehicle safety.
Operators are expected to demonstrate best practice through additional driver training, improved operational procedures and enhanced vehicle safety technology.
