The Brigade Backeye®360 AI Camera System with Human Form Recognition (HFR) – VBV-360-1000 is an advanced 360-degree HD camera system designed specifically for HGVs and commercial trucks. Combining Brigade's industry-leading bird's-eye camera technology with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Human Form Recognition (HFR), the system provides drivers with a complete surround view of their vehicle while intelligently detecting pedestrians and cyclists in blind spots.
Using four high-definition ultra-wide-angle cameras, the system creates a seamless 360° bird's-eye view, giving drivers complete visibility around the vehicle when manoeuvring, reversing or operating in busy urban environments. The integrated AI technology continuously monitors the vehicle's surroundings and identifies human forms in real time, providing visual and audible warnings to help reduce the risk of collisions with vulnerable road users.
Designed to support Progressive Safe System (PSS) and Direct Vision Standard (DVS) requirements, the Backeye®360 AI system significantly improves driver awareness while reducing blind spots that are common on large commercial vehicles.
